Fifty years of the 1976 hall

The current building opened in December 1976 after the village rebuilt from fire and decades of make-do. As we mark 50 years, planning permission is in place for the next chapter — a major extension breaking ground in 2027.

Over a Century of Community

Built in 1919 as a memorial to Tackley's fallen, the hall has served the village for over a hundred years. From its origins on Nethercote Road to its current home on Medcroft Road, it has been the backdrop to countless community gatherings, celebrations, and everyday moments.
